Rendezvous

I was at this polytechinic openhouse yesterday. They offered quite a lot of interesting courses that I wouldn't mind taking up. Early Childhood Development and Biomedical Engineering interest me the most, but anyway, I'm still taking my time to decide over if I want to go into a Junior College or a Polytechnic.
Well, after that I met John.
John Paradox is really like a brother to me. He was the one who taught me about everything, stereotypically, bad. He was the first to exposed me to the world of clubbing, drugs, gangsters and tattoos. He was the one who told me
Well, we were walking in Heeren's, when we met Iris and Rosalind. Anyway, Rosalind is this actress in a local series called Lightyears. She's much prettier in person than on television. The fact that she kept going on about how sweet I look now made me feel quite uncomfortable.
"Vicki? Oh my, you're so grown up now!" Iris exclaimed. I didn't recognise her at all actually, although her name does ring a bell.
"Oh my, what three years can do to a person," she sighed. Upon hearing that, I felt a tiny stab of nostalgia too. She told me she was leaving Singapore on Monday and told me to take good care of myself. I just nodded. I was wondering actually, if she had gotten the wrong person, but then again, she got my name right.

"Ros used to be irritating, you know," John whispered to me after they walked away. That made me laugh, and I was back to my normal self again.
