Because I was missing him that instance.

I don't know what was it, but things are different from when they begun. Daniel's no longer that flatcap-turned-backwards (that beret thing) wearing boy, the one who would bring my friends over to his place to do weed, the one who wrote a song called 'Vicki's Cool' for me. He was flatcap-wearing, fitted tee with designs like some naked brazillian girl or studded currency sign. Danii with the goatee.

I guess I had wanted him to change all that, and I think to a large extent, he did. He is no longer Danii, shedding a little of that spontaneity, idealism, childlike quality. He doesn't even pick up his guitar anymore.

tom's diner. says: I guess I miss that almost-no-strings-attached crazy-about-each-other kinda thing.
crop circles in the carpet says: Would you trade this for that?
tom's diner. says: Would you?
crop circles in the carpet says: It's hard getting to this.
crop circles in the carpet says: Sometimes too, it's hard to see its more worthwhile.
crop circles in the carpet says: This is where love goes, I guess...
crop circles in the carpet says: The blemished subdued grown-up version of a mutual crush. But also the more genuine version, where inter-dependency comes in.
crop circles in the carpet says: I tried to imagine what life would be without you on the bus to your place yesterday.
crop circles in the carpet says: That was what drove me frantic.
crop circles in the carpet says: 'Coz i realized i wouldn't last a day
crop circles in the carpet says: So I guess even if this is not as exciting, as blinding, as mind-sweeping as the initial days, the difference between now and then is that I could live without you then.
crop circles in the carpet says: Right now...
crop circles in the carpet says: You're in every nook and cranny. You're the foundation beams that I rest my weight upon.

crop circles in the carpet says: I think that Dani metamorphed into Daniel because he wanted to fit the bigger shoes.
crop circles in the carpet says: 'Coz it takes a lot more to be good for a girl than to impress one.
