The thing about writing a sequel to something so acclaimed, is that you may never be able to live up to expectations. For the most die-hard of fans, a perfect sequel is never perfect enough.

This is especially so when you're writing a sequel, for someone else's stuff. Apparently, someone wrote "Godot Arrives" to continue on where Beckett himself probably never intended to. I already hate it.
