You know how people in the news are always always going on about how Singapore is the second-freest economy in Asia, second only to Hong Kong? I am secretly proud. It shows that we are hip and cool and oh-so-liberal. Look we even have F1 here now! None of the cool people watch the Olympics anyway.
Surprisingly, I am not offended by a certain article I just read, which provides strikingly convincing points to disprove that. Instead, it has called Singapore the only (or the most? Either way...) successful socialist state in the world. I kinda like how that sounds. Kinda like how I used to secretly root for Stalin in history books, even know we all know how that ended.
PS. I watch the Olympics.
