Last night, my sister and I pitched a tent outside my parents' balconey. We brought out tidbits and mattresses and pillows and torchlights and roughed it out for the night.

I think my mom was more excited than the two of us were. She asked if I wanted to bring my hi-fi stereo, or even a fan. She brought us magazines and brochures and warned us about mosquitoes. It really felt so cosy, so much like a family. Dad was joking about how we're not going to last out there (I mean, please, it's just out on his balconey), but anyway he found torchlights for us and came to check on us twice. He even made ghostly sounds trying to scare us.

Well anyway, my sister and I couldn't sleep so we just spent time giggling, talking and stargazing. The most magnificent part of the night was when we saw shooting stars. Never in my life did I thought I'd ever get to see any.

The first time we saw it, we got so excited, we couldn't really wish properly. Then the second one came.

"Oh my god. Do I wish again?" my sister asked, sincerely wondering.

We oughta do this more often.
