Kenneth really knows how to make me smile. This is the song my dad sings to Ann. He's an absolute sweetheart.
I'm sick.
I'm sniveling and my head hurts so bad. It must have been that day, when I walked in the rain. When I reached home, Mom got anxious and started reprimanding me about not taking a cab, demanded that I took a bath immediately. I just shrugged. I know she means well, but being drenched is bad enough.
When I returned to my room, I locked the door and lie on the bed. I fell asleep almost instantly.
I woke up the next morning to a pulsating headache and a runny nose...which wasn't so bad until today.
I need to sleep more again.
