At bistro Jon works at, getting free iced teas and chips. Jon smokes and I didn't care anymore. When his manager arrived and he had to work for real, we pretended to foot the bill and left.

So Kenneth, KS and I sat at another cafe, pitch black sky and a stage they'd set up right in front of us. Swinging lights that switches colour and blasting music that clubs play night after night.

We sat there with just a barely touched mango smoothie on the table, making crude jokes, moving (dancing but not really) in our chairs to the music and watching people walk by.

It's such a nothing day, and all we did was just a big nothing and nothing to look back to, but maybe in that nothingness I felt satiated and there was where we should have stayed.

It's times like this when we do nothing at all that I feel like we actually know each other. When we're facing one another not speaking, mouthing lyrics and sucking on the same straw, it's more than enough words to fill the blank.
