Rendezvous

The best things that happened today:
1. Desiree, Liz, Min, Rose and I walked across the field to sit somewhere far away from everyone else and we talked, and talked, and talked.
2. Having a long talk with my English Literature tutor, and being convinced that staying on in the college might just be the best bet to take.
3. Bumping into Christian on the bus. Marilyn calls it fate, but I call it coincidence. It was merely coincidental.
4. Bumping into Rosanne after talking to Bryan wondering when I'll get to meet her.
5. Meeting Sam and hanging out the way we did when we were 13 years old.
6. Drinking Almond Tea that I didn't like, and losing it on the way. Eating cookie after cookie after cookie with Sam.
7. Meeting Felicia after dinner and taught her and Sam chemistry because their practical examination was.. today!
8. Receiving a text message from Rose telling me she loves me!
9. Taking a bus home from town alone at night like I never did before, and it felt good.
10. Realizing that life isn't so bad after all. And I was happy.
Although another realization hit me that the wickedly powerful homeostatic mechanism will apply, just for tonight, I felt like at least I had control over things again.
