18 January 06 : 08.04 PM

I woke up at 9am today. Watched That 70's Show, fell in love with Topher Grace again, stayed in bed watching home improvement and furnishing programmes, and always falling asleep and waking up abruptly.

This is the most television I've watched in a long time.

It's Wednesday already, and time is passing too fast for me to grasp. Not that I'm complaining, though. Last January doesn't seem that long ago, and here I am, January shakes me with vehement screams all over again. You don't know how lost this makes me feel.

I bought two dreamcatchers this afternoon, one for b. and one for myself. A commercial version of the Ojibwe dreamcatchers, with dyed feathers and glossy beads. It's almost kitsch, but pretty nonetheless. I stroked the feathers and wondered whose skin has it been on? Where is it now?

It's raining, and b. said to me, "And the sky has turned into you."

The Cherokees told us that one of the greatest trees is the holly, for when the Earth was made, it remained awake while most other plants fell asleep, and for that the power to always stay green and to be the best medicine was bestowed upon them.

We all need magick in our lives.
