Check out the designs at CSS Zen Garden. It's amazing what you can do with CSS. Does anyone else feel as stupid as I do, looking at these designs? I haven't mastered CSS, and I think I know less than I do when I started out.

Also, Amy Brown's site looks much more sophisticated than it did the last time I saw it. About 4 years ago, she was a goddess to both Felicia and I. Felicia wanted to draw an Amy Brown inspired faerie for me as a tattoo, but the idea just got shelved somehow.

And I still want to live in a Loft Cube.

His work is awesome.

Last weekend on the way to meet the girls, I chanced upon Nicolette and her boyfriend. We didn't hug or get all giggly like we used to, and I think it had something to do with the fact that her sorry excuse of a boyfriend was there. He doesn't like me much; I'm bad influence or something as asinine as that. Fuck, she has a fucking mind, okay? He even thought, for no good reason, that her ex-boyfriend gave her STD.

Nicolette and I, we go back. At 14, we sneaked into other classrooms searching for illicit secrets in diaries and bag compartments. At 15, we lost our flavored condom virginity together, as we took Royce's strawberry flavored condoms and tasted it with our tongues. At 16, we stole science apparatus from school laboratories; the U-shaped test tube from the Physics lab, the glass films off the microscopes in the Bio lab. Nicolette is beautifulamazing.

I'm trying to create a design with a Vargas pin-up, but I've lost my muse and I can't seem to think up something. Rendezvous is my worst design yet, I hate it. I wanted something nouveau artistic, like the illustration of my favourite children book about Cupid and his lover. Then there's wispy ethereal. Then there's minimalistic grunge. Suggestions, please?

I spent today online searching for new stock to use in my design and reading Blixen's Out of Africa. I think this just made me a better person.
