Any phone call from Heidi, no matter how short, never fails to make me happy.
(Even with my looming examinations in 2 hours no less. And the fact that I will be relying on Sparknotes for plot overview because, besides Kundera's, I haven't read any other book. What with all the terms/philosophy/theory that I will never fully comprehend. Epistemology. Postmodernism. Metanarratives. Self-reflexivity. Have all the texts I've chosen refused to accept postmodern incredulity in its bid to be postmodern? I hate trying to talk about school related stuff.)
