It's only theatre. In a play, things happen because they must. All deaths that happen must happen because the playwright had intended so. They follow cues, they get in line. At the end, the actors take a bow and leave the stage. Metatheatre; never letting you forget it's only fiction. Is real death theatrical then?

Can't help but feel like the curtains are slowly being drawn.
